Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all payments made for courses, training programmes, live sessions, digital resources and related services offered by buzzgridel. These include professional video operation modules, live signal management workshops, content distribution training, camera work instruction and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. The policy covers both one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions for access to course materials hosted on our platform. It governs transactions completed through our website by customers located in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are processed, when contracts are formed and under what circumstances refunds may be granted. It does not apply to third-party services or physical goods purchased separately.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Any Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate unless otherwise stated. Course fees cover access to video lessons, downloadable resources, live webinars and assessment materials. Additional charges may apply for optional extras such as certification exams, extended access periods or personalised tutoring sessions. These extras are clearly marked before checkout. Currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider are your responsibility and are not included in our pricing. We reserve the right to adjust prices for new enrolments, but existing subscriptions remain at the rate agreed at the time of purchase.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation and Payment Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers for course purchases. All card payments are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon submission of your order details. By submitting payment information you authorise us to charge the full amount due. We employ industry-standard encryption and never store full card details on our servers. If a payment fails due to insufficient funds or incorrect details you will be notified and given an opportunity to update your information before the order is cancelled.

Order, Booking or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

Once you complete the checkout process and payment is successfully authorised you will receive an email confirmation containing your order reference, course access details and a summary of the purchased items. A binding contract is formed at the moment we send this confirmation email. Access to digital course content is granted instantly after confirmation unless you have selected a scheduled start date for live components. You are responsible for ensuring the email address provided is correct so that confirmations and subsequent communications reach you.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel most distance contracts within 14 days of the date the contract was formed without giving any reason. For digital content and online courses the cancellation period begins once you receive the confirmation email. If you have already started accessing course materials or participated in live sessions the right to cancel may be lost. You must notify us of cancellation in writing via the contact form on our Contacts page or by emailing [email protected]. We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation request within two working days.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available during the 14-day cooling-off period provided you have not substantially accessed the course content. Once you have viewed more than a reasonable sample of materials or attended a live session the course is considered used and refunds are not granted. Non-refundable items include downloadable certificates, completed assessments and any promotional bundles where the discount was conditional on full participation. Subscriptions that have rolled over beyond the initial period are charged monthly and refunds are limited to the current billing cycle only if cancellation occurs before the next payment date.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund please submit a written request through the contact form on our Contacts page or send an email to [email protected]. Your request must include your full name, order reference number, the email address used for purchase and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may also include the reason for cancellation although it is not required. We will respond within five working days confirming whether your request meets the eligibility criteria. Keep records of all correspondence related to your request.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of the Refund Decision

Upon receiving your request our team will review your account activity to confirm the extent of content access. If approved we will notify you by email within ten working days and provide details of the refund amount and expected processing timeline. If rejected we will explain the specific reason, such as excessive content usage or elapsed cooling-off period. You may appeal the decision once by providing additional information within seven days of the rejection notice. Final decisions rest with buzzgridel and are made in accordance with UK consumer law.

Refund Method, Processing Time and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear on your statement within five to ten working days although some issuers may take longer. PayPal refunds are processed within three working days. Bank transfer refunds are completed within seven working days. We aim to complete all refunds within fourteen days of approval. If you have not received your refund after this period please contact [email protected] with your order details so we can investigate.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services or Promotional Offers Where Relevant

Digital courses are supplied immediately upon payment and you expressly consent to this immediate supply, acknowledging that your cancellation rights may be affected once access begins. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Promotional offers such as introductory pricing apply only to the first billing period and subsequent periods are charged at the standard rate. No refunds are provided for partially used subscription periods beyond the statutory cooling-off window.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

If a payment fails we will attempt to notify you and hold the order for up to seven days. Duplicate charges are investigated promptly and any excess amount is refunded automatically. Chargeback requests are treated as cancellation requests and will be reviewed under the same eligibility rules. We reserve the right to suspend access and pursue recovery of fees where fraud or misuse is suspected. Customers involved in fraudulent activity may be reported to relevant authorities.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. These rights include the right to receive services with reasonable care and skill, the right to a refund for faulty digital content and the 14-day cooling-off period for most distance contracts. We cannot exclude or limit these rights through contractual terms.
